A US – based expert in software accounting, Mr. Mosebolatan Olaotan Adedoyin will on the 21st of June 2024 be Inducted into Omo-Atata Hall of Fame at this year’s Ekinrin -Adde day celebrations.
The National Publicity Secretary of Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), Adewale Victor Adekanye, speaking with our reporter, disclosed that the unveiling of Mr. Mosebolatan Adedoyin as an inductee into Omo-Atata Hall of Fame was in line with the activities scheduled to hold during the eve of Ekinrin-Adde Day carnival.
According to him, the induction of honorees into Omo-Atata Hall of Fame will take place at the Awards-Night, which will hold at the Ekinrin-Adde multipurpose hall a day before the Ekinrin-Adde Day event, where distinguished sons and daughters of the Community will receive various categories of awards.
Speaking further, Adekanye noted that Omo-Atata Hall of Fame is another category of honour bestowed on prominent indigenes of Ekinrin-Adde Community who have made their marks in their chosen careers and impacted our Community and humanity.
Mosebolatan Olaotan Adedoyin was born in Lagos to the esteemed family of the late Chief Olaleye Adedoyin, the Oluwo of Ekinrin-Adde and Olumayowa of Ijumu land. His father, a distinguished journalist, retired as an editor with the Daily Times and hailed from the llufe clan of Ekinrin-Adde. His mother, the late Olori Mary Olayemi Adedoyin, retired as a Senior Supervisor at Kingsway Stores in Lagos and was from Odokoko, Ekinrin-Adde.
Bola Adedoyin studied Financial Studies at the Federal Polytechnic Offa in Kwara State, earning an OND. After graduation, he completed a one-year internship at Omega Bank, where he was subsequently retained. To further his education, he attended the Lagos State School of Part- Time Studies, graduating with an HND in Banking and Finance. He also attended NIIT, where he earned a certificate in Java programming. Bola left Omega Bank in 2005 following its merger with Spring Bank. Additionally, he earned a certificate in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School.
Bola gained experience in tax and accounting software at a privately owned accounting firm in Lagos. He later founded his own business, ExcellentEdge Signatures, which provided accounting software installation, tax filing, and accounting services to small businesses. He successfully managed this venture before relocating to the United States.
