While congratulating Nigeria on the celebration of June 12, which is Nigeria’s Democracy day, a former member, Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Alfred Bello has urge the political leaders to imbibe the principles and tenets of the June 12 struggle and let it reflect in good governance for the overall development of Nigeria.

The Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress salute the courage and uprightness of Prof Humphrey Nwosu who was the Chairman, National Electoral Commission (NEC), for conducting the June 12 presidential election acclaimed by Nigerians to be the freest and fairest in Nigeria electoral history.

“I remember he was humiliated and harassed by the military authority to abrupt the election process, but he went ahead at the risk of his life. Professor Humprey Nwosu needed to be remembered and be celebrated for upholding the truth whereas he has all the opportunity to upturn the truth and go in the way of the juntas.
