The chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Otu ward in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. Olorunsaiye Sunday (aka Regards) has congratulated the caretaker chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael on his safe return after he was kidnapped on Friday along Kabba-Okene highway.
Hon. Olorunsaiye Sunday (Regards), in a statement signed and made available to newsmen commended the swift response of the Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and the security agencies who trailed the kidnappers immediate the incident occurred.
The chairman of the forum of APC ward chairmen in Kabba/Bunu LGA appealed to the people of Kogi state to continue to support the programmes and policies of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo whom he noted is working round the clock for the protection of lives and properties, noting that security is everybody’s business and should not be taken for granted.
The APC stalwart prayed for the quick release of others who are still in the captivity of the kidnappers and appealed to security agencies to be proactive in the discharge of there activitie to ensure full protection of the citizens.
