The Labour Party Chairmanship candidate for Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area in the forthcoming Kogi state Local Government election, Ambassador Salami Oludare Benjamin has vowed to hit the ground running when elected as the Chairman of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area in the forthcoming Kogi state LGA election

Speaking with newsmen in Kabba, the Labour Party chairmanship candidate said there is no time to waste, noting that the level of poverty, hunger and insecurity in the land is on the high level, hence the people could not bear it again.

Ambassador Salami Oludare Benjamin urge the people of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area to come out in their large numbers to vote overwhelming for the labour Party whom he noted will provide good governance, fight hunger, create employment and protect the lives and property of the people.

“They have been coming on every election period to seek for our votes and when they got it, that is the end. We will not see them again until another campaign time. We cannot continue like this. It has been a win all situation, they only come to enrich themselves at the detriment of those that elect them.

“Our future and that of our children is in our hand. Let us vote wisely so that we can end the bad governance, hunger, poverty and insecurity of our land. The Labour Party is out to hit the ground running immediately we are elected to provide good governance and put smile on the faces of the good people of Kabba/Bunu LGA

“Let me use this opportunity to appeal to our security agencies and the electoral umpire, the SIEC, to be transparent, providing equal level playing ground and let the outcome of the election reflects the wishes of the electorate, he said.
