A Kogi West coalition group has commended the Senator representing the Kogi West at the Nigeria National Assembly, Senator Sunday Karimi for his pro-activeness in handling issues relating to the people of Kogi West.
The group applauded the federal lawmaker whom they noted knows so much about his constituents, noting that the Senator knows where the shoe pinches his people, hence, he is tackling those challenges one after the other.
In a statement signed through the coalition coordinator, Prince Amos Bamidele Oni and made available to The Exposure media commended the Senator’s programmes and policies aim at reducing the current economic hardship going through by Nigerians.
“Distinguished Senator sir, we want to use this media to commend you for your programmes and policies which you are currently executing to reduce the effects of the hardship, poverty and insecurity currently ravaging Nigeria
” Distinguished Senator sir, our coalition group have been following your policies since your assumption of office in 2023, we sincerely commend you in the Security base which you constructed at Yagba West to fight the insecurity of lives and property at the area.
We also commend your launch of a registration portal of N100 million naira students bursery award for 1,000 students from Kogi West in tertiary institutions. This would go along way to help the suffering of our dear students, most especially, the indegent students who could not afford to pay their school fees or even get text books and notebook respectively to settle for their academic pursuit.
Distinguished Senator sir, our coalition group will continue to appreciate your gesture at putting smile on the faces of our women across the Kogi West senatorial district through the N100 million naira to 50 women cooperative societies under your constituency empowerment scheme which you have released for the societies
Distinguished Senator sir, worthy of note is your recent released of N17million naira for immediate reconstruction of dilapidated and abandoned Pakuta bridge linking Aiyegunle Gbede-Kiri road in Ijumu and Kabba/Bunu local government area.
We cannot complete your numerous activities and human oriented projects which you are currently executing within Kogi West Senatorial district by not mentioning your facilitated of the N1.2billion naira foundation laying ceremony for the Remodeling of Government Secondary School Koton-Karfi which is under the National Senior Secondary Education Commission. This is worthy of commendation and worthwhile in our beloved Kogi West senatorial district
Distinguished Senator sir, you have upon resumption of office been facilitating appointment for the teeming unemployed youth within Kogi West senatorial district. Good numbers of unemployed youth have been captured even as you continue to go round to facilitate more employment for your people.
We want to also use this medium to appeal to the good people of Kogi West senatorial district to continue to pray and support Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi who is working day and night to provide efficient and qualitative representation to Kogi West senatorial district.
