Kogi Security Adviser, Jerry Omodara Votes, Praises Governor Ododo’s Commitment To Rule Of Law In Local Government Elections

The State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), today casted his votes at his polling unit in Unit 001 TownHall, Olle/Oke-Offin Ward of Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of the state.

Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his vote, Jerry Omodara said Governor Ododo conducting the Local Government elections is to ensure adherence to the rule of law and in compliance with his campaign promises.

He said the election is going on smoothly and peacefully and commended people of the state for their compliance to electoral guidelines in the process.

He expressed confidence that candidates of the All Progressives Congress will emerge victorious in the outcome of the election considering the performance of Governor Ododo’s administration.

The Security Adviser said the administration of His Excellency, Governor Ododo will allow management of the State Independent Electoral Commission whom were appointed by his predecessor to conduct the councils polls without interference so that it would be conducted peacefully and adherence to electoral guidelines.

Omodara used the medium to call on those to emerge winners of the election to join hands with the administration of His Excellency in providing basic social aminities to citizens.
