The All Progressives Congress (APC) achieved a significant victory in the Kogi State Local Government elections held on October 19, 2024. Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the APC, praised the results as a testament to the leadership of Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo and the trust the people have placed in the party.
The election results revealed that the APC won in all 21 Local Government Areas, securing all Chairmanship and Councillor positions. Voter turnout was notably high, with many eager to participate in the democratic process.
