The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council, HRM, Oba (Dr) Solomon Dele Owoniyi has appreciated the executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for approving 8 billion naira for infrastructure development in Kogi state University, Kabba.
In a statement released through the Chief Press Secretary to the Obaro of Kabba, Olayemi Gabriel and made available to newsmen indicated that the Obaro of Kabba commended the Governor for his results oriented driven which he noted has earned him maximum trust from kogites since his assumption of office.
The Obaro noted that, in less than one year in office, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has touched all the nooks and crannies of the confluence state with massive and superlative development across the state and providing good governance in all sectors of the state
The Obaro of Kabba appreciated the executive Governor of Kogi state for approving the construction projects at the university which includes, Senate Building, Faculty of Science, Male and Female hostels which he noted would turn the institution to a world class institution when completed.
The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council assured the Governor of the maximum support and prayers of the traditional institution, most especially, the Okun Area traditional council and appeal to the good people of Kogi state to continue to support the programmes and policies of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo whom he noted is working day and night at providing good governance for the overall development of Kogi state.
