The investors who trooped to the Kogi state exhibition stands expressed interest to familiarize and possible seek investment engagements in the state.
Kogi State Government is amongst the leading States present at the 9th Nigeria Mining week holding at Abuja Continental hotel.
Hon. Commissioner Solid Minerals and Natural Resources led the Kogi state delegates to the conference.
This year theme for the exhibition is:
‘’From inside out: Building the mining sector to be the comnerstone of Nigeria Economy“
Delegates were welcome by Minister of Solid Minerals Development Dr Henry Dele Alake and Minister of science and technology Berth Nnaji who represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Minister of Steel Development, Hon Shaibu Abubakar Audu, Minister for Defense were also in attendance.
During the exhibition session, Kogi state presented numerous God gifted natural resources in abundance which attracted the attention of the exhibitors.
The various exhibitors lauded the present administration of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo for his purposeful repositioning of the solid Minerals Sector, expressed their willingness to invest in the State.
In the Kogi state team, is Engr Muhammad Omeiza Lawal, MD Kogi solid Minerals processing company Ltd and other technical persons.
