The Vice Chancellor of the Taraba State University, Professor Sunday Paul Bako was honoured at The Exposure Media 2024 annual Lecture and Award Presentation as the Overall Best Vice-Chancellor of the year
The event will play host to selected August visitors was held at the Nigerian National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja with the presence of dignitaries from all works of life
Receiving the award as the Overall Best Vice-Chancellor of the year, Professor Sunday Paul Bako thanked the organizers for finding him worthy for the honour, noted that he didn’t know anybody at the media organization when they contacted him for the honour, dedicating the award of merit bestowed on him to the Government of Taraba state and all the management and students of the institution. He noted that the award will propel him to continue to do more, noting that there is nothing that is hidden under the sun, said for someone in Abuja to identify him in far Taraba state is a testament that people are watching and are seeing activities in all part of the nation
Professor Sunday Paul Bako urged the media outfits to continue to sustain their commitment to serve Nigeria through there reportage for the overall development of the nation.
“As the watch dog of the society, you must continue to strive hard to give your best in reporting for Nigerians and Nigeria as your role at giving information at any given opportunity must not be manipulated or circumvent for a particular interest but for the interest of the society.
Highlights of the event were presentation of awards to prominent Nigetians who have done well in their various field of endeavors, there was good will messages from some dignitaries who graced the event. The Vice-Chancellor of Kogi state University, Kabba, Professor Kehinde Imisi Eniola delivered a Lecture at the event titled “The role of today’s youths in a challenging Economic Sustainability for a Prosperous Nation… A case study of Nigeria as a nation
