CUSTECH VC clocks one year in office, Lauds Governor Ododo’s unwavering support

The Vice-Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara has successfully clocked one year in office.

Speaking his office at CUSTECH, he said, “It’s been one year since my appointment as Vice-Chancellor of this great and promising citadel of excellence and for all we have been able to achieve, we give gratitude to God Almighty.

“I extend our sincere gratitude to the Visitor of the University, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, for his immense support towards the infrastructural development of the University. Without his unwavering support, we cannot be where we are today. May he continue to wax stronger as he governs Kogi State.”

“Speaking further, the erudite professor of engineering added that, “We at CUSTECH also take due cognisance of the support we have continued to receive from the Nigeria Universities Commission (NUC) and Tertiary Education Truat Fund (TETFund). These bodies are to us the oil against every friction we would have had as an institution of higher learning.

“While appreciating the hands working with him at CUSTECH, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahaman Asipita Salawu gratefully said that, “In very significant way, I appreciate the support received from all the Management Team, Staff and Students of this ivory tower. This is not something to be taken for granted.

“Most importantly, I appreciate Osara, our host community for wholeheartedly accepting us and supporting us all the way.”

“Looking into the bright future that is ahead of the ivory tower the Vice-Chancellor posited that, “With much hope and faith in our hearts we strongly believe that in the years to come we will get to that zenith of our dreams and expectations about CUSTECH.

“It has been one year full of events and I humbly ascribe all glory and thanks to God for His unwavering love and protection.” He said.
