The Kogi State Government has paid the December 2024 salaries for workers.
The early payment which is another history by Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo is coming on the heels of the Christmas celebration.
Recalled that in July Gov. Ododo paid ahead of the Eid El Kabir celebration on the 14, breaking the jinx of Col. B.Z. Afarkirya who once paid salaries on the 17th of the month since the creation of the State.
The Governor said the gesture is to enable early purchase and preparation ahead the festivities.
