The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Durosinmi Meseko, has expressed deep sorrow over the recent tragic deaths of two individuals in Odo-Ape, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area suspected to be the result of attacks by armed bandits.
In a statement released today, Hon Meseko extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, praying for their comfort and strength during this difficult time.
“I am deeply saddened by this senseless loss of lives,” the statement read. “My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. I condemn these attacks in the strongest possible terms and call for swift action to bring the perpetrators to justice.”
Hon Durosinmi Meseko also commended the government for the steps it has taken to address the escalating insecurity, urging citizens to remain calm and cooperate with authorities. “I understand the fear and frustration felt by our people, but I call for calm and restraint as the government works tirelessly to tackle this menace to restore peace and security,” the statement concluded.
The APC spokesperson’s statement comes amidst growing concern over the recent wave of violence in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area. The government has increased security measures to address the situation.
