Few hours after redeploying the former principal to the LGA education department and the appointment of the new principal for LGCSS, Kabba, Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael on Monday approved the appointment of five qualified Nigerians to serve on the committee on rehabilitation of LGCSS for comprehensive overhaul of the education sector to improve learning and skill development, increase enrollment and ensure the academic security of the local’s children.
According to a statement issued by the chairman spokesperson, Omofa John, the new appointments is in line with Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael’s determination to secure local’s socio-economic future by ensuring sustainable higher education and critical skill development for all Kabba/Bunu LGA students and the youth.
With the appointment of the committee members, the Chairman expects the fullest measure of compliance with the performance-driven and results-oriented mandate of his Restoration Agenda administration in the implementation of education policy.
Hon (Barr.) Zacchaeus Dare Michael approved the nomination of Hon Ojo Sunday Martins, Secretary to the local government to serve as the Chairman of the committee while Hon James Olorunnipa, the LGA DPM will serve as the secretary of the committee.
Other members of the committee are:
Hon Kingsley Mokikan, Supervisor for Education and Social Services; Mallam Saliu Ehinmoni, HOD Education and Social Services; and Mrs Veronica Tolorunsagba, Head of Welfare Unit, LG Education Department.
The nominated committee members are expected to contribute their wealth of experience and expertise to the local government education mandate of developing LGCSS in Kabba.
