Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps Nigeria (FRSC), Mallam Shehu Mohammed, mni met with Hon. Abiodun Derin Adesida, the Chairman, House Committee on FRSC and his members today March 18, 2025. The meeting was prompted by concerns over the proliferation of fake vehicle number plates, which pose a significant threat to public safety and national security.
During the meeting, Corps Marshal Mohammed elaborated on the FRSC’s ongoing efforts to clamp down on fake vehicle registration numbers. He assured the Chairman of his commitment to eradicating this issue and improving the National Vehicles’ Data Bank in Nigeria.
