In a spirited efforts towards community development. The Vissioneers club known for development projects has find it necessary to construct a Bus stop for the university.
In his opening address,Hon Alfred Bello who is the chairman planning committee said community associations should think of how to compliment government efforts and give to the society rather than always looking for self gains.
The vice-chancellor thanked the club for the donations and urged other clubs or individuals to emulate Vissioneers club in supporting the university to grow.He poured encomium on former and present Governor of kogi Alh Yahaya Bello and Alh Usman ododo for the establishment and consolidation of the university which acclaimed to be fast growing.
Commissioning the project,Asiwaju Olusoji olatunji who’s the special guest of honour commended the Vissioneers club for the initiative and promised to always support the club in their future endeavors.
The obaro of kabba while appreciating the Vissioneers club noted that this is not the first project the club will embarked on the community.
Sur Timothy Samuel who is the president of the club acknowledged the presence of the special guest and the obaro of kabba for honouring the club, while he promised the club determination to continue the social responsibility require of them at all times.
