Chief (Mrs.) Toyin Omole, the Iya Ewe of Gbede Kingdom, attended the Kabba Day 2025 Celebration as the Lady Chairperson of the occasion.
The annual Kabba Cultural Day and Fundraising event serves as a unifying platform for sons, daughters, and friends of the community to celebrate their rich cultural heritage while mobilizing resources for community development.
In her goodwill message, Chief (Mrs.) Toyin Omole called on all Kabba descendants, both at home and in the Diaspora, to use the annual cultural festival and fundraising platform to strengthen the bonds of love, empathy, and brotherhood that unite them. She emphasized that love remains the binding force capable of lifting any community or nation to greater heights.
Mrs. Omole commended the existing spirit of unity among the people of Kabba and encouraged the organizers to continue using the event as a tool to bring together all Kabba sons and daughters, both locally and abroad, for sustainable growth and development.
She further applauded the traditional rulers, youth, and women of Kabba for their collaborative efforts in hosting such a wonderful festival that showcased the community’s cultural values and heritage, while expressing deep gratitude for the warm reception accorded her.
In her support for the celebration, Chief (Mrs.) Toyin Omole made a generous donation of an undisclosed amount as part of her demonstration of unwavering commitment to the progress and development of the Kabba community. She also pledged to continue supporting the community’s developmental projects.
