On 5 December 2025, the National Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Rt. Hon. Asiwaju Leke Abejide, convened a closed‑door meeting with the party’s National Chairman at the ADC National Secretariat at Abuja.
The two‑hour session, attended by senior party officials, centred on shoring up internal cohesion, mapping out the party’s strategy for the 2026 general elections, streamlining the organisational framework to boost grassroots mobilisation, and shaping the ADC’s policy agenda for the 2027 general elections.
Discussions also touched on key priorities such as youth empowerment, agricultural development, and security‑sector reform.
Both leaders emerged from the talks with a palpable sense of optimism, describing the encounter as a pivotal step toward positioning the ADC as a credible alternative in Nigeria’s political arena.
Abejide praised the Chairman’s leadership and underscored the importance of collaborative effort in advancing the party’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive nation.
