I had the pleasure of hosting the visiting staff members from the Centre for Skills Acquisition and Rural Development, University of Uyo, Akwa-Ibom, led by Ambassador Ernest Essien.
We explored potential partnership opportunities for the ‘National Access Skills Acquisition Program,’ themed ‘Integrating Artisans Empowerment for National Development.’ Alongside our Permanent Secretary, Shuaibu Lamido Belgore, we discussed strategic alignments and envisioned a mutually beneficial framework to enhance artisans’ skills acquisition capabilities.
It was a delight to engage with the team and explore ways to leverage our Ministry’s resources. The session concluded on a high note, with the Centre presenting us with Impact Awards for Innovation and Excellent Leadership, which I humbly accepted along with Minister Ahmed Musa Dangiwa and Permanent Secretary Belgore.
