The Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has expressed confidence that the party will make a strong comeback in the 2027 general election, defeating the ruling party in the governorship election.
Gambo made this statement in Lokoja after meeting with party members, citing widespread disenchantment with the current administration and nostalgia for the PDP’s past governance.
“We are confident that come 2027, it will be a total sweep,” he said, attributing existing infrastructure to PDP’s previous rule.
He urged Kogi people to remain united and calm, assuring them that the PDP’s return to power would bring an end to their suffering and bring development.
